CHURCH SERVICES

The quarterly morning communion service will be held at the close of the shortened morning service in the Methodist Church tomorrow. The subjects, morning and evening, are:—“Has the Church Lost Her Passion?” and “Can We Conquer Circumstance?” the preacher being the Rev Frederick J. At the Kuripuni Methodist Church tomorrow, Pastor C. H. Skuse will be the preacher for the day, the subjects being: “Discovering Diamonds in Dross” and “God’s Guiding Spirit.” Tomorrow is Dominion Temperance Sunday. Because of the school holidays a number of Mastertdn Sunday Schools have decided to take the special lessons for the day oa the following Sunday (September 11). Temperance , has ben applied mostly to the use of strong drink, but should be applied t<v-“* all things; appetites, tempers and opinions.
