PRICES AT WELLINGTON (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Sheepskins were cheaper at the sale held yesterday by the Wellington brokers. Best grades were }d a lb lower than at the previous sale; faulty and inferior sorts eased Jd to 3d a lb. Prices of hides were irregular. Light weights were l-8d a lb higher; medium and heavy were from part to slightly easier. Kip and yearling were from 3d to 3-8 d a lb higher, and calfskins were 3d a lb lower. The price of tallow showed little change. The range of prices is as follows: — Dry sheepskins: Halfbred, 83d to 9d; fine crossbred, 6d to 83d; medium crossbred, 43d to B|d; coarse crossbred sjd to 83d; half-wools, 6jd to 83d; quarter-wools, 3Jd to 63d; pelts, 2£d to 4d. Hides: Ox, 331 b to 441 b, 33d to 4 5-8 d; 451 b to 521 b, 33d to 5 3-8 d; 531 b to 591 b, 43d to 6’d; 601 b to 691 b, to G 3-8 d; 701 b and over, 53d to 6.’,d Cow, 331 b to 391 b, 33d to 43d; 401 b to 481 b, 33d to 43d; 491 b and over, 3id to 43d. Kip, 251 b to 321 b, 4 l-8d to 6 3-8 d; 171 b to 241 b, 3 l-8d to 7 3-Bd. Yearling, 11 lb to 161 b, 4Jd to 8 l-Bd. Calf, 91b to 101 b, 4 7-8 d to Bjd; 61b to 81b, 31d to 91d; 1 lb to 51b, 5 3-8 d to 9 5-Bd. Tallow: In casks, etc., 11s 6d to 16s; in tins, Gs to Bs.
