LADIES’ PENNANT MATCH. MASTERTON DEFEATS HUTT. The B grade Pennant match played at the Hutt on Thursday resulted in a win for Masterton by 4 games to 2, one game being all square. Results are as follow (Masterton players being mentioned first in each instance): Miss Pearce beat Mrs Park, 2 up; Miss Murray lost to Mrs Duncan, 8 and 6; Miss Jury lost to Mrs Wiren, 3 and 2; Mrs Fagan beat Mrs Chapman, 2 and 1; Miss Jordan beat Miss Dawson, 2 and 1; Mrs Plummer and Mrs Monteith, all square; Mrs R. Burridge beat Mrs Evers-Swindell, 3 and 2.
