N.Z. CHAMPIONSHIPS. THE SEMI-FINALISTS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, September 1. The second round of the New Zealand amateur billiards championship was concluded today, leaving four players to contest the semi-finals tomorrow. Results are:—L. Holdsworth. 666 (including breaks of 106, 71. 43. 39. and 38), beat R. F. McKay, 332 (26 and 24). A. E. Redmond, 666 (66. 40, 38, 32 and 29), beat A. Alberston, 639 (46. 35, 31, and 29). S Moses, 666 (73, 44, 34. and 31), beat R. Carrick. 516 (70. 36, 33. 32. and 29).
