DOCTORS KIDNAPPED
PRESUMABLY TO ATTEND REBEL WOUNDED EPISODE IN PALESTINE. ASSASSINATION OF ARAB NOTABLE. (Recd This Day, 11.50 a.m.) LONDON, August 31. “The Times” Jerusalem correspondent says that, presumably to ensure that their wounded should be medically attended, raiders kidnapped two Arab doctors while the latter were motoring from Heb"on to visit Government village clinics. Tewfik Shanti, an Arab notable, was assassinated in a doctor’s office in Jaffa which he was visiting for treatment, after an attempt on his life last week.
