BRIDGE PARTY
A bridge party to entertain last year’s president, Mrs Sydney Smith, was held at the Ranfurly Club yesterday afternoon. The club was beautifully decorated with japonicas and spring blossom, masses of violets making the tea table ■ very gay. Between forty and fifty guests were received by the president, Mrs Gill. Prizes were won by Mrs Speedy, Mrs Fred Tatham and Mrs Michael.
