PERSONAL ITEMS
Mr and Mrs W. Jolly, Wanganui, are visiting Kahutara, Wairarapa. Miss I. Taylor, Hastings, is spending a few days in Masterton. Miss C. J. Neilson is a Wanganui visitor to Pahiatua, and is the guest of Mrs H. Beresford Smith. Lady Perry, Mrs Corran Perry, Miss P. Perry and Miss M. Perry, are Masterton visitors to Wellington. Misses Betty and Nancy Payton have gone to Hamilton to play in the New Zealand badminton tournament. Mrs Clark, who has been visiting her daughter, Mrs Jayne, Totara Street, has returned to Ashburton; Miss Zelia Chapman, Tauranga, is the guest of Mrs G. Sunderland, Perry Street. Mrs Kennedy, Lyall Bay, is staying with her daughter, Mrs J. Wells, Coradine Street. Miss J. Sellar, Lansdowne, has been spending a few days in Palmerston North. Mr and Mrs H. J. Fairchild and their small son have returned to Masterton after a short holiday at Paraparaumu Beach. The friends of Mrs J. R. Nicholls, Solway, Masterton, will be pleased to hear that she is progressing favourably, after an operation at Glenwood Hospital.
