WAIRARAPA v. BUSH. WIN FOR HOME TEAM. (“Times-Age” Special.) The return competition between the representative teams from Wairarapa and Bush District Small-bore Rifle Associations was fired on the Masterton range last evening and after a very keen and interesting shoot ended in a win for /Wairarapa by eight points. At the conclusion of the shooting supper was provided and felicitous speeches were made by the captains of both teams, Messrs W. G. Eising and H. K. Smith and cheers were exchanged by both sides. Next year a trophy will be provided, thus adding interest to the competition. Messrs C. J. DeLacey and W. G. Eising acted as scrutineers, their task being fairly easy as the shooting, taken on the whole, was very clean. Following are the scores: — Wairarapa: P. Russell, 100; H. King, L. G. Rasmussen, J.
