MUSICAL MOMENTS
AT OPERA HOUSE NEXT WEEK. David Kalama, Wizard of the Strings, and his Troupe, and Jean Mackay, NewZealand’s leading lady piano accordionist and her popular band, will present Musical Moments at the Opera House next Wednesday. A strong supporting programme, includes Dorothy Tate and her Ballet, Betty Coleman, L.T.C.L., in humorous impersonations, Evelyn Oliver, Queen of the Air, Ronald Gilbert, Radio Star, Yvonne Paris, Maureen Nix and Ola Curry, clever solo performers featuring tap and operatic dances. Such a programme should attract a bumper house, and patrons will be well advised to book their seats early as it is only a one night performance.
