COAL SHORTAGE
MINERS RESTRICTING OUTPUT IN N.S.W. EXPORT TRADE THREATENED (Recd This Day, 11.50 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. Declaring that the miners were voluntarily sacrificing thousands of pounds daily in wages by deliberately restricting supplies, the chairman of the Northern Collieries Association, Mr J. C. McGann, said there was already a serious shortage of coal, and the export trade was threatened.
