ART UNION DRAWN. FIRST PRIZE TO TARANAKI. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The first prize of £2OOO in the “My Opportunity” Art Union, drawn in Wellington last night, was won by a Taranaki ticket-holder, Mr J. C. Moss, Mahoenui. The second prize of £5OO went to Mrs Pai, Box 8, Herekino, Auckland; the third, of £2OO, to a Timaru ticket-holder; the fourth of £ 100, to Christchurch; and the fifth, of £75, to Wellington. Wellington and suburbs were luckier than usual in winning seven'out of the 30 £lO prizes, six going to Auckland, three to Christchurch and three to Dunedin. The prize list is as follows: —. First Prize, £2OOO. 174053, Mr J. C. Moss, Mahoenui, Taranaki. Second Price, £5OO. 33693, Mrs Pai, Box 8, Herekino, Auckland. . Third Prize, £2OO. 28861, “Donadea,” Timaru. Fourth Prize,'£loo. 79687, “Willie Win,” Mr R. Jeddis, Christchurch. Fifth Prize, £75. 149341, “Lucky Horseshoe,” Wellington.

Among the £lO prize winners were: “Lucky August” (Mauriceville) and “Twenty-first Birthday” (Featherston). The £5 prize winners included: “Mickey’s Birthday” (Carterton); “My Lucky Day” (Cole Street, Masterton); J. H. MacDonald (Ihuraua); Mrs Percy (Te Parae, Masterton); “Lucky 13” (Masterton).
