HITLER ON THE FRENCH FRONTIER. f SUSPENSION OF TRAFFIC. (Recd This Day, 9.10 a.m.) , STRASBURG, August 29. Herr Hitler arrived unexpectedly on the French frontier at" Kehl, opposite Strasbourg, to which place all traffic has been suspended l and the frontier closed. The Fuehrer was accompanied by eight generals. He inspected fortifications and the brideghead and left in the direction of Offenburg. Storm Troopers were mobilised to maintain order.
