NATIONAL PARTY ADDRESS. (“Times-Age” Special.) There was a large and enthusiastic attendance at the Anzac Hall yesterday afternoon when Mrs Polson spoke on the evils of Socialism and Communism. Mrs D. H. S. Riddiford was in the chair. (Personal. Mr Dreberge, Lower Hutt, was a weekend visitor, being the guest of Mr and Mrs Boston. Mrs Murphy, Wellington, is visiting her mother, Mrs Chas Edwards, Hayward Street. Kahutara Social Club. The Kahutara Social Club held a card tournament and dance on Saturday night, when a Wellington football team were guests. Paper hats, squeakers, confetti and streamers added to the gaiety of the scene. The card tournament winners were: Ladies, Mrs Carter 1, Mrs R. Simmonds 2. Men, Mr A. Newland 1, Mr Feast 2.
