Mrs D. H. S. Riddiford was in the chair. (Personal. Mr Dreberge, Lower Hutt, was a weekend visitor, being the guest of Mr and Mrs Boston. Mrs Murphy, Wellington, is visiting her mother, Mrs Chas Edwards, Hayward Street. Kahutara Social Club. The Kahutara Social Club held a card tournament and dance on Saturday night, when a Wellington football team were guests. Paper hats, squeakers, confetti and streamers added to the gaiety of the scene. The card tournament winners were: Ladies, Mrs Carter 1, Mrs R. Simmonds 2. Men, Mr A. Newland 1, Mr Feast 2.
