CANCER CAMPAIGN
N.Z. BRANCH TO MEET IN CHRISTCHURCH. The annual meeting of the New Zealand branch of the British Empire Cancer Campaign Society will be held in Christchurch next Tuesday, August 30. The meeting, which will be held in the council chamber, will be presided over by Sir James Elliott, Wellington. Other delegates who will be present are: Dr P. P. Lynch, Wellington; Mrs Gordon and Dr Donald McKenzie, Auckland; Sir Louis Barnett, Professor D’Ath, Mr W. E. C. Reid and Mr J. M. Paterson, Otago; Sir Hugh Aeland, Dr P. C. Fenwick, Dr L. A. Bennett, Professor \vhite, Mr J. McGibbbn and Mr E. H, Wyles, Canterbury; and Dr Telford, Health Department. Mr R. Darroch, Wellington, is the general secretary of the branch.
