AUSTRALIAN WOMEN’S GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP MISS KERNOT BEATS MISS EBERT SYDNEY, August 25. Miss Kernot (Victoria) retained the women’s open golf championship by defeating Miss Vedas Ebert, New South Wales country champion today, by 7 and 6 over the thirty-six holes final. Miss Kernot was three up at the end of the morning round, and reeled off twelve holes in two over par this afternoon.
