MARTINBOROUGH

DEATH OF MR A. TAYLOR. (“Times-Age” Special.) An old and respected resident died in the Tiri Hospital yesterday morning in the person of Mr Alex. Taylor. Born in Caithness, the late Mr Taylor came to New Zealand about 44 years ago, and at the time of his death was in his 84th year. He lived a very quiet life, taking no part in public affairs apart from his church. Mesdames Lamb and Jolly are nieces of the deceased. The funeral will leave the Presbyterian Church today at 2.15 p.m. for the new cemetery.
