DANNY MALONE
IRISH TENOR AT OPERA HOUSE. Danny Malone, the celebrated Irish Tenor, who is making a personal appearance at the Opera House tomorrow night, has the true Irish voice, with, as the people say, the Hills of Killarney in it. He sings all those Irish §ongs which are so popular and has been acclaimed as the legitimate successor of John McCormack. Danny Malone is a famous 8.8. C. artist and has during three years sung thirty-three times a year, which is a record for a 8.8. C. performer. He has sung at the Albert Hall, London, and before leaving for Australia and New Zealand did a three months broadcasting tour of America through the National stations, afterwards making a personal tour of the U.S.A, and Canada. He has just completed a six weeks broadcasting tour of New Zealand through the National stations and appeared in Australia for Frank Neil and the Union Theatre Circuit. After his New Zealand tour he proceeds to England via South Africa where he has been engaged to tour. Danny Malone will be supported by Eileen and Robert Emmett, harpist and violinist, Ken Lehmann, pianist and Ted Pratt, community singing leader.
