VIEWS OF CANADIAN BISHOP WAR SCARE REPORTS ASSAILED (Recd This Day, 1.25 p.m.) WINNIPEG, August 23. The Anglican Bishop of Edmonton, the Rt Rev A. E. Burgett, who has just returned from England, vigorously assails war scare reports in papers on the American side of the Atlantic. “Everything is all right in England,” he said. “The Czech, crisis passed during May,, when men'..slept beside their planes, awaiting orders to fly to France in the event of the Germans making an invasion. The Czechs are confident that there will be no war for five years at least.
