TURK DIVORCED
HAS NOT SPOKEN OR LAUGHED FOR EIGHT YEARS. (Reed This Day, 12.50 p.m.) ISTANBUL, August 23. Veti, a Tatar villager of Eastern Angelin, has been divorced on the grounds of not having spoken nor laughed for eight years. The police are guarding his home from curious crowds.
