IRISH RADIO TENOR
OPERA HOUSE FRIDAY. Mr Danny Malone, well-known Irish tenor, is making a personal visit to the Opera House, Masterton, on Friday night. This famous radio and picture star is assured of a hearty welcome to Masterton. Many will remember his performance in the “Rose of Tralee,” a picture which typified the spirit of Ireland and in which Mr Malone, with his glorious voice, expressed in song the traditions’of the country. In his programme on Friday Mr Malone will be heard in a repertoire of “good old Irish songs,” which have made him such a popular radio star both in New Zealand and abroad. He will be assisted by Eileen and Robert Emmett, violinist and harpist, the youngest combination of this class to tour New Zealand. They have just completed a record season in the Town Hall, Sydney. The box plan is open at the Arts and Crafts.
