The “Daily Telegraph’s” Saragossa correspondent says that the insurgents, bringing men, guns and tanks from the Fayon sector, have redoubled their effort to drive back the Government forces who crossed the Ebro. Bombardments by tanks silenced machine-gun nests. Insurgent shocktroops then attacked and broke the line, which was forced to surrender or retreat across the bridges under shellfire and aerial machine-gunning.
