“THE CINGALEE”

PERFORMANCE TOMORROW EVENING. IN AID OF OPERA HOUSE FUND. The Masterton Amateur Theatrical Society will give a repeat performance of “The Cingalee” tomorrow evening in the Opera House. The whole proceeds are to go to the Opera House Furnishing Fund. The society is keeping to its promise to give one performance each season for this purpose when the Opera House was restored. It is expected that the public will heartily respond and fill the house. At this performance the part of “Harry Vereker” will be taken by Mr W. McMichael, the well-known local baritone singer, as Mr J. Warham, who played this part during the season, is not available. Many no doubt will wish to see Mr McMichael in the principal male part. Seats may be reserved at the Arts and Crafts, but no telephone reservations can be made.
