MATCH AT MASTERTON. WIN FOR P. AND T. TEAM. A most enjoyable evening was spent in the Y.M.C.A. rooms on Friday last, when a table tennis match was played between teams representing the local Post and Telegraph and Labour Departments. The P. and T. proved victorious by 20 games io 16. All the games were keenly fought out and at one stage it appeared quite likely that the Labour Department would win. However a last-minute effort by the P. and T. side saw them win .six out of seven final games. A delightful supper was provided by the Labour Department.
