WAIRARAPA CLUB’S MEETING . THE , CLIPPER WINS AGAIN Mr W. James’s The Clipper, by winning the open stake at the Wairarapa Coursing Club’s meeting on Saturday achieved a notable record for the season, having secured the Waterloo Cup at Invercargill, and every possible open stake held by the Wairarapa club. Saturday’s meeting, which attracted entries from many parts pf the North Island was held in ideal weather. Two events were decided, an open stake for the Yule trophy, which was won by The Clipper, and a maiden stake,) for the Wing trophy, which went to Butcher Brothers’ Full-d-Gay. There were only two kills during the afternoon’s coursing. Detailed results are as follow:
