RADIO CLUB FUNCTION. (“Times-Age” Special.) At the invitation of the local branch of the N.Z.A.R.T., a return visit by the Palmerston North branch was paid yesterday. Members of the Wellington and Masterton branches were also present. Advantage was taken of the beautiful day, some members journeyed to Lake Ferry and others to the glow worm caves at Ruakokopatuna. The’ visitors were entertained at dinner and tea at the Club Rooms. Mr R. A. Tanner thanked the local branch for the fine hospitality shown, and Mr Hayworth also spoke on behalf of the Wellington branch. Mr R. J. Wright of the local branch suitably replied. Amongst the visitors were: Messrs K. R. Hanlon, M. A. Riddle, R. W. Heyworth. G. A. Cuthbert, C. Parsons, D. A. Cosgrove, G. 'H. Cuthbert, E. Browell, D. N. Sinclair, E. Harris, of Wellington; R. R. Treleaven, D. Wilkinson, A. G. Papworth, H. R. ,D. Browne R. H. Meredith, B. Falkner, T. Teehan, C. Elsmore, D. Ross, A. R. Tanner, H. Perkins, of Palmerston North, and M. Ludwig, of Masterton. STABLEFORD COMPETITION. The best cards in a Stableford bogey handicap played on Saturday were as follows:— Senior: J. T. L. Pike, 31, 7, 38; J. Martin, 27, 11, 38; H. F. Harvey, 33, 4, 37; L. W. to 21; A. B. Martin, 24 to 23; O. Grant, 32 to 26; F. B. Wright, 25 to 24. PERSONALS. Miss B. Coyte, of Wellington, has been staying with Mrs L. B. Warren, of Dyerville. Mr and Mrs J. Power are visiting Mr Power’s parents at Te Rihunga, Dannevirke. Mr and Mrs Winchcombe have returned after, a few days visit to Feilding. Mrs.W. McLeod is a visitor to Wellington. Miss Hall, who is accompanied by her mother from Hastings, will spend the term holidays at Auckland.
