St. Michael’s Jubilee.
A very enjoyable social and dance was held in St Patrick’s Hall on Saturday night in- connection with the golden jubilee celebrations of St Michael’s Hibernian lodge. There was a large attendance of visitors from various parts of the North Island and also the South Island. The function passed off most successfully. Music was supplied by Barnes orchestra and Messrs J. Hunter, G. Marsh, R. Cross and S. Herbert were M.'sC. A special feature of the dance was the grand parade of all officers (local and visiting). Supper was provided by the lodge.
