WELLINGTON SALES RANGE OF PRICES At. the sale of sheepskins and hides held yesterday by the Wellington brokers, dry sheepskins . showed little change. One firm reports that most descriptions eased Ad, but good halfwools were firm. Light, medium and heavy hides sold at about last sale’s rates. Kip and yearling were about on a par, but calf were from Jd to gd lower. Tallow was Is a cwt cheaper. The range of prices is as follows: — Hides: Ox, 331 b to 441 b, 3 5-8 d to 43d; 451 b to 521 b, 3d to 5 5-8 d; 531 b to 591 b, 33d to 63d; 601 b to 691 b, 33d to 6.? d; 701 b and over, 6 3-Bd. Cow, 331 b to 391 b, 23d to 4 5-8 d; 401 b to 481 b, 3 5-8 d; to 43d; 491 b and over, 33d to 51 d. Kip, 251 b to 321 b, 33d to 5 7-8 d; 171 b to 241 b, 4d to 7 l-Bd. Yearling, 11 lb to 161 b, 43d to 7 7-Bd. Calf, 91b to 101 b, 5 3-8 d; 61b to 81b, 3 5-8 d to 9 7-8 d; 1 lb to 51b, 6 5-8 d to 9 7-Bd. I
Sheepskins: Halfbred, 7jd to 9jd; fine crossbred, 63d to 8d; medium crossbred, 4d to BJd; coarse crossbred 63d to BJd; half-wool, 6d to 83d; quarter wools, 33d to 63d. Salted skins: Three-quarter-wools, 4s 3d; full-wools, 5s to 6s-7d. Tallow: In casks, etc., 13s to 15s 9d; in tins, Bs. Sundries, Cow tails, 103 d. Horse hair, 20d.
