FOR REFUSING TO EXPEL v JEWISH MEMBERS. ACTION BY GERMAN CONSUL IN MANILA. (Recd This Day, 9.20 a.m.) MANILA, Aug. 18. The German Consul, Herr G. A. Sakowsky, has ordered all Reich nationals to resign from the German Club, as a previous ultimatum failed to expel three members of German-Jewish descent. It is reported that Hen- Sakowsky is requesting Prince Louis Ferdinand of Prussia, who is arriving on August 27, not to accept the club’s hospitality.
