READY TO NEGOTIATE BUT'ONLY ON HENLEIN DEMANDS. DECLARATION BY DEPUTY LEADER. (Recd This Day, 1.50 p.m.) 4 LONDON, August 17. The “Daily Telegraph’s” Prague correspondent says Herr Kundt declared that the Government draft was diametrically opposed to Sudeten conceptions. Nevertheless they were ready to negotiate, but only on the basis of Herr Henlein's demands. SUDDEN RECALL. .DIPLOMAT FLIES TO BERLIN. (Recd This Day, 1.50 p.m.) PRAGUE, August 17. The sudden departure for Berlin in a plane sent from Germany of Herr Henke, German Charge D’Affaires, is believed to have an important bearing on the Sudeten position.
