Since the inception of the lid per half-ounce rate to Britain, the total weight of west-bound New Zealand air mails handled by the Sydney G.P.O. has been 40961b5., compared with 2061 lbs. of Australian mail at 5d per halfounce. New Zealand mails, at the IJd per half-ounce rate, so far received at Sydney G.P.O. from Britain totals 4481 lbs. and inward Australian mail, at ll.d per half-ounce rate, 63211b5.
