MISSING TEETH

EPISODE AT BUCHANAN HOME OTHER PERSON WEARING THEM “Sometimes false teeth do get stolen among these old people,” remarked the Managing-Secretary, Mr Norman Lee, at yesterday’s meeting of the Wairarapa Hospital Board. “Some time ago,” he added, “a set of false teeth went missing in the Buchanan Home. The teeth were later found being worn by another person.” Mr Arch Clark:,“lt was lucky they fitted.” Mr Lee: “They would be near enough.” The board decided to provide an elderly lady inmate of the Home, who had lost both bottom and top sets, with a new set.
