He led the campaign for Slovak autonomy and was once imprisoned in Hungary for issuing Slovak propaganda. ACTIVITY IN AUSTRIA. MANY MILITARY TRAINS ON THE MOVE. (Recd This' Day, 12.55 p.m.) LONDON, August 16. The “Daily Telegraph’s” Prague correspondent says great military activity is reported through Austria. From Innsbruck to Vienna, there is a constant transport of troops in military trains, consisting of tarpaulin-covered vans, many apparently containing guns.
