MR GEORGE LANSBURY’S MISSION VISITING BALKAN CAPITALS REMOVAL OF FUNDAMENTAL CAUSES OF WAR (British Official Wireless.) (Recd This Day, 10.5 a.m.) RUGBY, August 15. Mr George Lansbury, who has visited Herr Hitler and Signor Mussolini, on “embassies of reconciliation,” sponsored by a group of British pacifists has left London on a new “peace mission” to Sofia, Bucharest, Belgrade, and Budapest, in the course of which he will continue to advocate, he stated today, the removal of the fundamental causes of war.
