DENTAL CLINIC

RESPONSE TO APPEAL BELOW EXPECTATIONS. OVER £2OO OUTSTANDING. The appeal to parents for the payment of Dental Clinic subscriptions and arrears, made last May by the committee, has not met with the response that had been expected. Altogether a sum of about £3OO was due at that time. In the intervening three, and a half months only about £9O has been received. It is intended to despatch further accounts at the end of this month to those who have not paid. It is pointed out that if parents recognised their obligations the Clinic would be relieved of financial embarrassment. Following the appointment of a third nurse to the Masterton Clinic, a start has been made with the treatment of children attending St. Bride’s Convent and St. Patrick’s School and this work is now proceeding steadily.
