RAIDS ON HANKOW
FIFTEEN HUNDRED KILLED IN TWO DAVS
ANTI-AIRCRAFT FIRE INEFFECTIVE. GOVERNMENT TO EVACUATE ALL CIVILIANS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Copyright. HANKOW, August 13. Two squadrons of Japanese bombers raided Hankow by moonlight last night. Anti-aircraft fire was ineffective. Fifteen hundred are believed to have been killed in the last two days. The Chinese Government had decided to forcibly evacuate all civilians from Hankow.
