TOURIST TRAFFIC
RETALIATION BY FRANCE AGAINST ITALY RESTRICTIONS ON PASSPORTS LONDON, August 13. The Paris correspondent of “The Times” says that, in consequence of the Italian Government’s refusal to allow the usual tourist facilities for Italians visiting France, the French Government has suspended all collective tourist passports to Italy. French passports will be valid for Italian travel only if the bearer can offer evidence that the journey is justified by important business.
