CZECH LINER CRASHES IN FLAMES
ALL ON BOARD KILLED SAVE ONE WOMAN’S MARVELLOUS ESCAPE By Telegraph—Press Association. Copyright. (Recd This Day, 9.40 a.m.) STRASSBURG, August 14. A Czechoslovakian air liner, flying from Prague to Paris, crashed into a tree on a hillside near Ossenburg, in Germany, burst into flames. The crew of thirteen, and four passengers were killed, except a stewardess, who had a marvellous escape by being’ thrown clear of the plane! into another tree.
