WAIRARAPA TEAM FOR ANNUAL TOURNAMENT. The following is the Wairarapa primary schools Rugby team to take part in the annual tournament to be held at Palmerston North: — Oliver, Rewai (Greytown); Hall, McLeod (Martinborough); Trilford, Golder, McNicholl, Davie (Central); Couch (Pirinoa), Paget, Veale, Beales, Ginnane (Pahiatua); Goodin (Hukanui), O’Keefe (Carterton), Broughton, O’Shea (St. Patrick’s); Cardno (Lansdowne), Shepperd, Te Tau (Featherston). On Thursday afternoon at Eketahuna the Bush primary school Rugby representatives met a Wairarapa team. The day was beautifully fine and good, clean football was witnessed. Bush were far superior and their backs outclassed Wairarapa. Paget scored three tries, Humphrey one, Veale one and Beales one. There were no conversions. The final score was Bush 18, Wairarapa 3.
