PROCLAMATION BY OFFICERS’ LEAGUE MASARYK’S INHERITANCE TO BE DEFERRED AUTHORITY OF THE STATE TO BE UPHELD. By Telegraph—Press Association. Copyright. (Recd This Day, 12.15 p.m.) PRAGUE. August. 16. The Czech Officers' League has issued a proclamation that it is determined to defend Masaryk's inheritance and that the State's authority must under no circumstances be lessened, undermined or abused. “From this tion,” the proclamation declares, “we will not retreat. We may die, but we shall not retreat.”
