TIRED EYES
A REFRESHING RECIPE. Here is a recipe that will both cleanse and refresh tired eyes. Take half an ounce of camomile and boil for a few moments in a cup of hot water. Strain the water and add to this the same quantity of rose water. If this should seem a trifle strong, in case the eyes are. very overtired and sensitive, weaken with a little cold boiled water. Well cleanse the eyes by bathing with cotton wool dipped in the lotion, as well as using an eye bath. There is no better way of resting tired eyes than to place on the lids little pads of lint soaked in the camomile and rose water. Let the pads lie on the lids for five to ten minutes before you attend to the more serious side of “make-up” for the evening—and you will be reassured by the bright and clear eyes that will greet your vision in the all-revealing mirror.
