WELLINGTON SALE. ADVANCE IN PRICES. Prices advanced at the fourth sale of rabbitskins held yesterday by Messrs Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., and Dalgety and Co., Ltd. Medium sized catalogues were offered and met exceptionally keen competition, prices advancing considerably on values ruling at the sale held here in July. Winter skins were from 6d to 9d a lb. better and lower grades also advanced to approximately the same extent. Prime bucks made up to 103 d, first bucks to 98Jd, and first does to 66|d. The following is the range of prices: —Prime bucks, 102 d to 103 d; first bucks, 98d to 98£d; second bucks, 82Jd to 89d; first does, 64d to 661 d; second does, 53Jd to 56£d; spotted bucks, 70d to 773Jd; spotted does, 44jd to 433 d; outgoing bucks, 34d to 57d; outgoing does, 28J d to 40jd; early winter bucks, 66d -to 80d; early winter does, 44d to 52d; incoming, 44 jd to 62Jd; late autumns, 44jd to 49d; early autumns, 24d to 26£d; dawny autumns, 18Id to 19d; milky does, UJd to 16Jd; summer bucks, lOd to 12|d; summer does, to 12d; spring bucks, 21Jd to 29Jd; spring does, 16id to 213 d; broken, first, second, third, lid to 36Jd; F.S. and 8.5., first, second, third, 12d to 61d; hares, 16d to 163 d; small, to 7d; runners, to lOJd; racks, to 18-Jd; black, first to fourth, 9'd to 36d; weevilly, 6?d to 12d.
