MAORI DELAYED
ROUGH WEATHER IN COOK STRAIT. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Boisterous weather at Wellington last night delayed the departure of the Maori, the conditions hindering the loading of mails and luggage. Leaving Pencarrow Heads the Maori ran into heavy seas, high winds and rain squalls. She pitched and tossed across the- Strait, but the weather moderated as, she approached Lyttelton, where she berthed twenty minutes late.
