(Recd This Day, 9.20 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. It was reported from Canberra last night that a large car, carrying several All Blacks and two referees overturned fifteen miles from the capital city. The New Zealanders Taylor and Saxton received bruises. Taylor will be unable to play against Canberra tomorrow, but it is hoped that both will be fit enough to play in the third Test'on Saturday. None of the other occupants of the car were hurt. ■ AUSTRALIAN TEAM. SOME PLAYERS ON INJURED LIST. (Recd This Day, 9.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The Australian Test team had strenuous training in Sydney today. Carpenter, who is suffering from leg soreness, did not participate. Rankin, who played so well in the second Test, has pulled a muscle, which probably will keep him out of the third Test. The Queenslander, Monti has been compelled to withdraw from next Saturday’s game and F. Hutchinson is replacing him. The latter played well in the first Test. VISIT TO CANBERRA. NEW ZEALANDERS ENTERTAINED (Recd This Day, 10.40 a.m.) CANBERRA, August 9. After a civic reception the All Blacks were taken on a sight-seeing tour. The Government entertained them at dinner at night. Speaking at the dinner the ActingMinister for the Interior, Mr Thompson, praised the sportsmanship of the All Blacks and said that great as many All Black touring sides had been, this was probably the greatest. Public servants and employees of business houses in Canberra have been given a holiday in order that they may see the match this afternoon.
