NEW “HEAVEN”
♦ FATHER DIVINE & HIS “ANGELS.” (Recd This Day, 9.55 a.m.) NEW YORK, Aug. 8. Two boatloads of Father Divine’s “angels,” hilariously singing, and provisioned with ice-cream, soda-water and water-melons, sailed up the Hudson for Krumelbow, to inspect the newest "heaven,” facing President Roosevelt’s estate.
Father Divine, dressed in a grey suit, boarded the “flagship” from a luxurious limousine, his followers yelling “Peace, Father!”
