CLAY TARGET CHAMPIONSHIP. WON BY C. P. WEBBER. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, August 8. The clay target championship was fired as the final match in the Dominion trap-shooting championships at Leeston today, and was won by C. P. Webber (Morrinsville), who shot off with E. Groome, H. Quartermain, J. Malcolm, R. McDonald, J. L. Graham. W. Elliott, J. Donnelly, F. E. Cox and R. E. Farrow. Webber won in the eighteenth round, with Elliott second. Seventy-eight competed, equalling the record of several years ago.
