The All Blacks are quietly confident of winning the second Test, thus retaining the Bledisloe Cup, although Australian critics give the home forwards a chance of providing an upset. Possible last minute changes in the Australian team, owing to injuries, are unlikely to affect Australia’s chances, as the home backs are unlikely to equal the brilliance of Berghan, Morrison and company. The improved form of Mitchell, in the mid-week game, further strengthens the back line although the All Blacks feel that Wesney would make the best side probably in place of Phillips.
