Engravings of Plymouth, England, during the middle of last century, have been presented to the New Plymouth library by the editor of the Guildford City Outlook, Mr G. H. Briefly. The collection of 11 consists mainly of seascapes and riverscapes of Plymouth and the surrounding countryside, and most of them bear the date 1841. A number of similar prints were presented a few months ago by an Auckland resident.
