NEW ZEALAND INQUIRIES AT HOME REPORTED NEGOTIATIONS. WITH BRITISH FEDERATION. (Recd This Day, 1.15 p.m.) LONDON, August 5. The “Daily Herald” says the New Zealand Government is negotiating with the British Iron and Steel Federation for the establishment of a steel manufacturing plant. New Zealand is willing to accept technical advice from the federation, though the capital probably will be raised in the Dominion.
