CANADIAN RESOLUTION OF PROTEST TALK OF BRITISH CONCESSION TO U.S.A. WINNIPEG, August 3. The Grain Exchange Council has forwarded a resolution to the Prime Minister urging steps to maintain the United Kingdom preference which was granted to Canadian wheat under the Ottawa pacts. The Dominion Bureau of Statistics reports that grain is maturing too rapidly for an optimum filling, and that prairie harvesting is under way.
