MASTERTON SALE F.C.D. COMPANY, LTD. The New Zealand Farmers’ Co-op. Distributing Co., Ltd., report: —We offered medium entries of sheep and cattle to a good attendance at the Massale yesterday. Fat sheep were in short supply and heavy ewes advanced about Is 6d per head. The outstanding entry in the store sheep section, a choice line of heavily clad mixed aged ewes, in lamb to S.D. rams, sold on account of Mr H. R. W. Beetham, Kourarau, brought 335. Good healthy hoggets were firm at late rates. A line of 32 fat and forward P.A. cows and heifers brought £6. The following are some of our realisations: —Fat 2-th. b.f. wethers, 245; light w.f. wethers, 23s 6d; fat ewes, 19s; m.a. ewes in lamb to S.D. rams, 335; b.f. lambs, 13s 6d; small w.f. wether lambs, 12s 6d; w.f. ewe lambs, 17s; fat and forward P.A. cows arid heifers, £6. store pigs, 235.
